Have you wanted to try Lino printmaking, but don’t know where to start? Join me for a hands-on experience that takes through all the steps to create your own carved Lino block and a fresh set of prints! This fun workshop is ocean-themed, and you will take home your own salmon prints & more. I have created custom exercises to make it easy and fun to learn or practice your linocut skills. The workshop is for beginners and advanced printmakers alike, as the class includes experimental techniques and a painterly approach.

QAW is an awesome art shop with a workshop studio in the back. I am super stoked to have been invited to teach a workshop here. This class is a special 5 hour workshop! Participants will be able to play and experiment with my ocean-themed Lino blocks to create a multi-block print. Online registration is easy:

I had the best experience at a private linocut workshop taught by the amazing @jessicasalvadorart! I had no prior experience with doing linocut so I was super skeptical if I can do this. But she made it super approachable. I learned layering and experiment with inking with her kelp linocut design. She provided a step-by-step tutorial on how to learned the craft in a short period of time. I’m super surprised that I was able to cut out a salmon linocut in under 3 hours, all in her studio in Vancouver!
